According to the Islamic, Allah put affection and charm between men and women so that the family union could be established and continued; If these conditions are not met, the concept of family disappears, and generations are mixed. Relationship without Nikah (a religious ceremony for a Muslim couple to be legally wed under Islamic law) is called adultery in Islam and is strictly prohibited as it is stated in the verses of the Qur’an.[1]
On the other hand, if there is no attraction and love between a man and a woman, it will not be possible to establish a new family and continue it. Sexual desires are natural desires placed in the creation of human. However, sex before marriage life eliminates the concept of family. Therefore, in this case people do not need to establish a family and concepts such as being a parent become worthless. As a result of all these, humankind is facing extinction. As a shield from such situations, Islam has ordered to keep sexual desire in balance with a sensitive measure and to turn to what is halal.
While it is possible to meet the physiological needs of humans through halal means which is in an appropriate in religion; turning to an act that is haram, forbidden by Allah, is left entirely to the will of man. As a result of this voluntary choice, a person will find the reward for his deeds in the hereafter. The prophet Muhammad (PBUH); “Allah will give His Shade on the Day when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne (i.e., on the Day of Resurrection); for a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer and) says: ‘I fear Allah’.” [2] He informed us of the consequences of such avoidance.
In another hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explained the types of adultery and emphasized the will of the person: “Allah fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in. There would be no escape from it. The adultery of the eye is the lustful look and the adultery of the ears is listening to voluptuous (song or talk) and the adultery of the tongue is licentious speech and the adultery of the hand is the lustful grip (embrace) and the adultery of the feet is to walk (to the place) where he intends to commit adultery and the heart yearns and desires which he may or may not put into effect.”[3] He also warned that people would be exposed to trouble in societies where adultery increased [4] and said that the prevalence of adultery is one of the signs that the day of judgement is approaching.[5]
According to another narration from the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH); When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was with his companions (friends), a young man came to him and said: “O Messenger of Allah! I want to be friends with such and such a woman, I want to commit adultery with her.” said. The Companions were very disturbed by this situation and there were some who wanted to beat the young man and get him out of there. Because the young man had said very inappropriate things. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) called him by saying, “Let go of that young man,” and made him sit near his knees so that his knees were touching his own, and said: “O young man, do you want someone to do this bad thing with your mother? Do you like this ugly action?” he asked. The young man angrily said: “No, O Messenger of Allah.” he replied. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): “Then, the children of the person you will do that ugly deed will not like it either.” Then: “Well, if they wanted to do this ugly job with your sister, would you like it?” when he asked the young man: “No, never!” he got angry. He said, “Then no one among the people likes this job.” Then, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) placed his hand on the young man’s chest and shoulder and prayed: “O Allah! You purify this young man’s heart. Preserve your honor and honor and forgive your sins.” The young man left the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is rumored that this young man never thought of such a bad thought again.[6]
The way to satisfy this desire without sin is to get married. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised young people to control their sexual desires, to get married as soon as possible for those who can, and to try to keep this desire under control by fasting. In this way, he gave the glad tidings of Paradise to those who protect their chastity and honor.[7]
